Your right to a Good Faith Estimate

Know the expected cost of scheduled care.

Uninsured and self-pay clients have the right to receive a written Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected charges for scheduled services. Your individualized estimate will reflect the service, anticipated frequency, and information known when it is prepared.

If a bill from a provider is at least $400 more than that provider’s Good Faith Estimate, you may be eligible to dispute the charge. You may request an updated estimate when your treatment plan or frequency changes.
